We’re excited to announce a collaboration with pest and garden experts Kiwicare for a 10% discount on Kiwicare products exclusively for Project Island Song members.

Our first membership discount

This is the first time we’re able to offer our members an exclusive discount, and Kiwicare is a great collaboration to start with, as we know many of our members are interested in managing pest plants and pest animals around their own properties as well as the islands.

We will be sending members more details about the collaboration and how to claim the discount in the coming weeks. If you’re not already a Project Island Song member, read on to find out more about what it involves and how to sign up.

In the meantime, click on the catalogue below to check out the range of products that will be eligible for the 10% discount (note that the prices listed here are the normal non-discounted price).

About Kiwicare:

We’ve been working with Neil Martin, Business Development Manager from Kiwicare to provide this exclusive offer to our members, who has shared some more information about the company and why and how they want to support the project:

"Kiwicare provide innovative, effective, and safe solutions for local pest plant and predator control problems. While many people know us from our work in the retail market, we also have a strong presence in the Biosecurity and Biodiversity sector as well as supplying government departments, local councils and commercial contractors.

As an intergenerational family owned and operated company, we have deep roots in New Zealand. Our goal is to partner with Project Island Song and to see your organisation thrive. Kiwicare is big enough to provide you with surety of supply, nimble enough to push boundaries in innovation and small enough to stay passionate about what we do and who we work with.

• Innovation is in our DNA. Our organisation prides itself on being innovation-led with a purpose-built Research & Development laboratory. Our robust R&D programme scopes, develops, and executes more than 150 innovative products each year

• Being local means, we can guarantee supply. We manufacture at our production facility in Christchurch. We own distribution hubs in the North and South Islands and are experienced in supplying complex orders to a multitude of locations across New Zealand at pace. All your orders will be supplied from our Auckland warehouse.

• Technical support. When you visit our new website, you will have access to not only our range but also to our library of brief and informative online ‘how to’ videos that will help you use our products safely and correctly; be it setting a rodent trap or mixing a pump spray or knapsack for weed control, we’ve got you covered.

Our products are developed with safety and sustainability in mind. With dedicated regulatory, compliance and health & safety teams in-house, we take seriously our responsibilities towards creating a safe and sustainable working environment for our customers."
